Delicious veggie biryani consists of Kidney beans layered with mint leaves, tomatoes and green chillies over boiled rice.


Ingredients
Ingredients :
Lobiya (any kidney beans),
Oil 1/2cup,
4 onions (sliced)
GingerClick to find more about Ginger & garlicClick to find more about garlic paste 4 tsp,
Boiled basmati rice 1 kg, (with zeeraClick to find more about zeera and podeena boiled with),
Jayfal & jawintri (grinded) 2 tbsp,
Green cardemom ( hari elychee)
Badi elychee , d
Daar cheeni,
LaungClick to find more about Laung (cloves)
Black pepperClick to find more about Black pepper ( kali mirchClick to find more about kali mirch)
ZeeraClick to find more about Zeera , (all dry masala also grinded, 3 tbsp)
Yogurt 1 cup (blended also),
TomatoClick to find more about Tomato paste 1/2 cup,
HaldiClick to find more about Haldi powder 1/4 tsp
Red pepper , 1 tsp,
SaltClick to find more about Salt , as required,
Zarde ka rang(yellow food color) 1 tsp,
Kewra essence 2 tb sp,

Required things for layers on rice
Podeena(mintClick to find more about mint) leaves,
8 green chillies ,
lemon
tomatoClick to find more about tomato slices,


Preparation
Fry onionClick to find more about onion in oil ,put garlicClick to find more about garlic & gingerClick to find more about ginger paste in it.
Then put all ingredients of garam masala with tomatoClick to find more about tomato paste & yogurt, then put lobiya it with high quantity of water for tenderizing it.
After that when lobiya also absorbeded water keep frying it till it leaves oil in it.
In a big pan make one layer of rice, spread lobiya's gravy on it with tomatoClick to find more about tomato & lemon slices and green chillies with podeena leaves, then make another layer and repeat that method as above again.
Then put zarda color on the top of the side of rice with kewra essence 2 tsp, leave it for 10-15 minutes to settle.
Serve hot with fresh salad.
