Simple yet tasty dish in which Mattar (peas) Paneer (cheese) cooked together in a creamy blend of spices.


Ingredients
1 onionClick to find more about onion, pureed
1 tsp. gingerClick to find more about ginger paste
1 tsp. garlicClick to find more about garlic paste
1 tomatoClick to find more about tomato, pureed
1 tsp. turmericClick to find more about turmeric
1 tsp. chilli powder
1 tsp. cumin powder
1 tsp. coriander powder
1 lb. cottage cheese
1 tsp. saltClick to find more about salt or to taste
Cilantro/coriander leavesClick to find more about coriander leaves
1 tbsp. oil


Preparation
Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan (or skillet) and fry the onions, gingerClick to find more about ginger and garlicClick to find more about garlic, together with cumin and coriander powder for five minutes.
Add tomatoClick to find more about tomato puree, cottage cheese, green peasClick to find more about green peas, turmericClick to find more about turmeric and chilli powders and saltClick to find more about salt together with half a cup of water and cook on medium low heat for fifteen minutes.
